Hi everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend!
I spent mine working on projects, thinking I would have them all completed by Sunday night … but it seemed like one disaster after another struck.
Here it is Tuesday, and none of them are finished yet.
On Movie Night, we ended-up watching Divergent (which was good), and while channel surfing, I discovered My Big Family Renovation which I am really getting into.
There was one project that got finished.
Do you remember me telling you about the giant box of wine corks I found at a yard sale a month ago? And the Wine Cork Bulletin Board that I made with them?
Well, while I was working on my other projects this weekend, the unnamed child worked on today’s.
I picked-up these wooden letters at Michael’s using the 40% off coupons.
You start off by laying out your corks on it to make sure that they all fit.
You have to do some finagling to get them all to fit together and not have empty spaces.
But then you get to glueing… It takes a while, but it’s pretty mind-numbing work, so it’s an easy project to knock out while you’re watching TV.
I love how it ended up looking, and I really like the variety of corks from all the different vineyards.

Nice! I hate it when projects don’t work out! You get all ready to tackle a bunch of them and then they don’t work out. I am working on painting a table that just won’t paint???? It is the weirdest thing! Glad to know I am not the only one!
