Today is the second month in our three month decorating challenge!!!
The challenge is that we all decorate the same space in our home for three months using only things we already own.
Decorating my home isn’t as easy for me as making over furniture. Some people just have that knack, but I have to work at it a bit. I’m the type that decorates it once, and then it doesn’t change for the next five years.
So I was glad that this challenge really made me think, and it didn’t even cost me a dime! I dug through my basement and storage room and found things that I totally forgot about.

As you can see, I kept it pretty simple.
I kept my same vintage window up, used my same bust (just moved it around a bit, and added some fresh flowers.
I pulled out a few Easter decorations I had, just to give a few little pops of color.

What a great challenge! I need to challenge myself to this as it would really cut back my shopping habit!
