Happy Friday friends! If you have been following my IG feed this week, you know that I have had crazy insomnia all week, and after only having 5 hours of sleep in the last 4 days I am exhausted. You would think after that many days of not sleeping, your body would wave the white flag and surrender … but not yet. Plus Topher was traveling for work, and I never sleep very well when he is gone, but this is starting to get ridiculous.
I had a suggestion of taking melatonin, and I tried that last night with no luck. Another suggestion one of you had was to try magnesium, so that is on the agenda for tonight. I’ll keep you posted. If any of you have any other suggestions please let me know!
Topher gets home tonight, so that should help things too. When he is away, the dogs are all on edge and bark at the smallest things which, of course, freaks me out at 3 am when they are barking at the front door.
We have had temps in the mid 80’s here in Kansas, which is amazing compared to what they have been. It’s been so much easier to shoot clothes when it’s not 100 degrees! The unnamed child signed-up for a pretty heavy load at college this year and was already starting to feel overwhelmed. Between her heavy coarse load, her job, and going back and forth every other weekend to visit the boyfriend she was at breaking point. She ended up dropping one of her classes that she hated, so hopefully that will make her life a little more manageable. Sometimes it is worth having to take a class over the summer rather than being on the verge of a nervous breakdown for a whole semester.

Alright guys, this is my absolute favorite dress I got this summer! It is super flattering on all body types. Trust me if it looks good on my old body, it will look good on yours. It comes in yellow and black and runs true to size. I will warn you it is not one you want to travel with, unless you bring a steamer as it’s made of silk and will wrinkle some. You can pull it down off the shoulders or keep it up higher if you have workplace rules you have to abide by.
