Hello my friends! Today is themed furniture makeover day!!
This month’s theme is animals! I’ll be honest … I had to get creative on this one!
In the spring, while at a yard sale, I came across this bench for $12.
It was in good shape but totally plain and boring.
I knew some Plaster Paint could breathe some life into it, so I applied two coats of Ocean Breeze.
Once that dried, I grabbed my Small Love Birds Lace Damask stencil from Royal Design Studio.
Here’s a close up shot. Can you see the little birds? Those are my “animals” for this project.
I stenciled it on using Plaster Paint’s Sweet Cream.
I thought about distressing the piece, but I kind of liked it the way it is. I think it will look cute on someone’s porch!
