Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! I got several new projects completed, walked the pups out in the beautiful weather, made some food for my cousin’s birthday, but I did get some bad news that my brand new niece was admitted to the hospital and they are doing tests to find out what’s wrong with her. My poor brother and sister-in-law are so exhausted they can’t see straight, and any prayers for the little pumpkin would be greatly appreciated.
Halloween is approaching (I can’t believe I just said that!), and you all know how I like to have some decor on my front door, so I thought it was time for my first ever Halloween wreath.
This one is super easy to do and was really inexpensive to make. I started off with a foam wreath form (they had them on sale at Walmart) and some black fabric (the fabric hardly shows so it doesn’t have to be anything fancy).
I first cut my fabric into strips and hot glued it around the wreath form.
Next I took black flowers with spiders on them that I got at Dollar Tree and hot glued them all around the wreath so they butted-up next to each other.
I then took some orange, left-over ribbon that I had and made a loop around the top of the wreath. I then made a bow out of the ribbon and attached it to the loop with a pipe cleaner.
Lastly, I took two black glitter skulls (also from Dollar Tree) and glued them to the bottom inner rim of the wreath. The best part is the skulls light up when you flip the switch on back!
That is it! Super easy!

Did you cut off the flower stems or hot glue them down as well?
Shanna says
Hi Shannon! I cut off part of the stems so they weren’t so long and then I glued them onto wreath. Have a great week!
